The Education stresses

An educated child’s brain is one of the most important assets to the world we live in today. And as you may know, there’s more to being an educated person than just getting a college degree from a university. Learning, or learning how to learn, starts at your own child’s birth from the womb and continues throughout their life in many ways—from childhood through adulthood. It can be done through the use of educational programs that teach skills for living independently, like a course on cooking, caring for yourself or others, socialization and much more.

In today’s society, many people take up courses such as the following ones:

a) Child development (BCDD)

b) Psychology (CPDP)

c) Social work

d) Marriage counselling

e) Family Therapy

e) Counseling Families

e) Family therapy

In order to learn best practices of children's care during the early years of our lives, we must first understand our children in all aspects of their lives, including physical, emotional and intellectual development. Children, who are already taught the proper habits to deal with various situations, can learn new ways of communicating or creating environments around them that give them the support they need to develop emotionally, physically and intellectually while also becoming responsible citizens. With a strong foundation in knowledge of the brain, learning through education, socialization and the family structure, children will make responsible individual decisions and become intelligent enough to think independently and become prepared and comfortable with new skills. Through education, children should receive clear professional instruction in all areas of life through an interactive curriculum that provides them with opportunities to practice these skills. At home, we can have fun doing activities like gardening, gardening projects, crafts and cooking. For example, if my son was ever hungry, I would ask him to make my meals using his favourite food and other ingredients so that I could cook myself at least three times a week. He always brings something nice, tasty food that he likes so it has been very productive. Another activity is playing games like Scrabble where the children have to put together words and phrases to solve a complicated game and create memories to memorize for later on. By engaging in such activities as this, our children can learn the skills to be independent individuals.

In addition to education, parents can also use this information to help and encourage their young children. When our child reaches an appropriate age and his/her brain development begins, we can begin giving them some advice and guidance over the future. As children grow in age and they begin to realize things that most adults do not understand, parents can offer them advice like guiding them through difficult situations and helping them to build independence and self-esteem. Of course, parental advice and guidance are especially beneficial because it gives our children new strengths to learn and grow from.

b) Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)

CBT can be used by adults and children together since both teachers and pupils are going through similar developmental stages during their lives, thus making both parties feel comfortable and accepting of each other’s differences. We can use cognitive-behavioural training through which therapists focus on teaching both adults and children healthy behaviours to prevent anxiety and depression, as opposed to medication and other treatment measures. Our children learn positive ways to relax and stay calm and composed while dealing with stressful situations and learning healthy coping mechanisms. According to research conducted by the University of California, psychologists found that those in CBT groups had higher levels of relaxation and less stress and sadness.

c) Motivation

Many adults, particularly those who are involved in high school, enter college and get good jobs. These people spend thousands of dollars on attending college due to the costs of textbooks, room and board, tuition and a lot of time. They usually study several hours a day and continue to get better by enrolling more and studying harder since they have a long way to go. In contrast, our young children often drop out of school because they are unable to pay for the expenses of their studies and can’t afford to purchase a good set of books, room and board and other expenses. Since many children do not even have access to the internet, we need to remind them about the benefits of staying in school and attending classes. This helps them develop a lifelong habit of finishing university education when they attain the grade of college. From personal experience, I have noticed that once students achieve the grades of a particular university, they continue on in it for longer. Their ability to pay for their studies and their desire to learn further have been instrumental in motivating me to ensure that other students do the same thing by helping them start earning money for school. Also, in terms of academics, I believe that students who are passionate about their fields and have the drive to pursue degrees can succeed academically and professionally; a belief that has helped me and students in my class to excel academically. Through such motivation, we can develop a greater understanding of students and their readiness to succeed academically. A student’s love to learn, determination to keep up with academics and passion to get better academically is ideal for developing good relationships with instructors. All students should always remember that their passion for their subjects is a driving force that helps them grow academically.

d) Employment

In today’s society, it is no longer uncommon to see many people employed in corporate companies, but not without having taken some basic educational courses that prepare and equip them for the job market. Many employers pay well for the educational background of candidates, making it a necessity to invest in oneself to gain these positions. After taking courses, professionals can be easily hired into various industries like sales, customer service and marketing. Students, who are able to meet certain qualifications such as having a high school diploma, a four-year degree in English, or a combination of those two, have the possibility of working in any of these careers without even knowing it through the universities. Several universities now have online employment services to provide students with employment opportunities without studying for college and with ample opportunities. There are career centres that facilitate students and teachers to explore possibilities and find jobs with ease. If you look back a few decades ago, almost everyone, aside from educators, had to go through university education at minimum or no cost. Nowadays, with technological advancements and the advancement of the Internet, we can obtain employment in virtually any field of interest. You can explore careers such as journalism, advertising, media, public relations, management and more! For instance, I am currently interned with an organization called the American Red Cross of America which provides disaster relief services to victims of disasters such as floods, fires and hurricanes. My internship includes assisting rescue teams and medical facilities in disaster response efforts. On average, it takes about four months to complete my internship. I have received great satisfaction and happiness in my profession because it has allowed me to advance in my skills and earn more valuable experiences.

Finally, let’s talk about the effect of education on our children’s families and our society. First of all, schools and colleges teach our children how to become respectful and hardworking citizens. We can teach our children to respect themselves by giving us a wide range of subjects such as medicine, psychology, economics, history, chemistry and physics. Parents can also instil such values in their children by introducing discipline in the classroom; thus allowing our children to grow stronger in their individual talents. Teaching our children to be respectable is something that develops good communication between our children and their peers in school. One of the best examples of my generation, especially my daughter, is my daughter’s relationship with her peers. She spends a lot of her time talking to her classmates as they engage each other in interesting discussions, to understand each other. Another great aspect of her personality is the joy she derives from exploring different topics related to different subjects. Whether we realize it or not, it is crucial for us as parents and teachers to expose children and adolescents to as many different subjects as possible—just like teenagers, they have the chance to choose which one of us they would like to learn about. Such exposure to learning new things not only improves our children’s self-confidence and makes them independent thinkers, but also enables them to make conscious choices, such as knowing their weaknesses and what they can do to turn them into weapons. Not only are we educating our children with the right skills, but we also make sure that they learn the necessary lessons that will serve them well when they decide to move on from schooling. Teaching our children and educating them also promotes civic awareness among youth. Educating our youth to become responsible citizens who will promote equality, democracy and social justice is necessary for promoting our country and civilization.

e) Physical fitness

If we want our children to be physically fit, one of our biggest tasks is to make sure that our children are active. We can teach our children about physical fitness simply by exercising daily—like walking, running and playing outdoor sports. Regardless of whether physical fitness is taught through formal or informal means, we should certainly involve our children in physical activity and never stop moving from one place of play to another. Encouraging and modelling physical exercises and activities for kids from a young age is a fantastic way for parents to learn how our children should be physically fit by teaching them to jog, ride bikes, swim and jump rope. Also, teaching them how to swim and bike ride is essential because they are able to learn multiple skills simultaneously, which is essential for our community. Teaching our children and inspiring them makes them want to learn, not just ride bikes like their parent does. Taking our children on a tour of the United States, we saw people using bikes as a method of transport and transportation, not just for bike rides but also for leisure riding
