The Culture
“Culture is the widening of mind and spirit”
Culture is a way of life of a group of people having similar
ideas, beliefs and practices.
Culture and sub-cultures are concentric circles and every
human being falls within this. On the other hand, morality is associated with
common biological nature and basic human
needs-Every culture differs from others according to the constellation of myths
which shapes its attention, attitude and practices.
No culture is perfect or superior to any culture as it is
made by human beings who are imperfect creatures and that is why cultures have
some limitations.
Culture is not universal since the ideas, practices and origin of every person is unique.
All cultures are morally equal.
Culture is like a dancing masquerade that needs to be completely viewed from all angles in order to get the entire view.
“Culture differences should not separate us from each other
but rather cultural diversity brings a collective strength that can benefit all
of humanity"
Culture is the characteristic of a group of people defined by everything such as language, religion, lifestyle etc.
Different people in different societies have different
cultures but they also have some similarities.
The culture varies in different things such as clothes, food, religion and many others.
Culture is the collective programming of the mind which distinguishes the members of one category of people from another.
Culture has its own characteristics; we will discuss some of its characteristics here. Learnt, Shared, Social, Continuous, Adaptive and varies.
As we discussed earlier that cultures are learnt from their
elders.
All action the action we do like eating, dressing wearing
ornaments etc is the result of the culture we learned.
One author says about learning about culture “Babies and children learn about their culture by watching their parents and close family.
