There are many types of smoking like cigarettes, pipes (tobacco heaters), cigars, or using tobacco leaves, e-cigarettes which means electronic cigarettes, heated tobacco products which include nicotine salts and vaporizers or chewing on gum.

Smoking occurs in almost every part of the world except Antarctica. This type of smoking can be seen by taking a puff while making a conversation about smoking with people or by inhaling smoke from someone smoking while talking. Many smokers use a certain device in their mouth (e-cigarette, pipe). In some cases, there is even an odour in their breath due to the burning of nicotine that helps reduce smoking-related illnesses like cancer.

Some of the smoking’s side effects include headaches, eye irritation, throat irritation, coughing, shortness of breath, wheezing, increased heart rate, anxiety and depression. Over time the damage to respiratory organs increases and more than 50% of all nonsmokers will have lung cancer or some form of emphysema. Also smoking damages the nose, eyes, ears, throat, and lungs. Long term smoking causes cancers such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or multiple myeloma or non-Hodgkin lymphomas. Some smoking damages body organs like the heart, brain and reproductive systems. It also causes other illnesses such as HIV and tuberculosis.

What is smoking? The word smoking comes from the Greek word ‘smak’ which means smoke. Smoking consists of taking one or more cigarettes each day through the mouth, oral, or inhaler, inhaling, or passive smoking, passive smoking, sniffing up cigarette smoke, smokeless passive smoking, cigarettes that contain nicotine salts, and others. Smoking may cause serious harm to your overall health, including breathing problems and reduced lung capacity. Smoking has an addictive effect and can lead to several issues which are known as smoking causes such as diabetes and respiratory diseases.

Smoking can be very harmful at all levels. Children and adolescents especially adolescents are affected the most. Smokers with asthma should stop smoking. Lung and cardiovascular-related illnesses are experienced in adults who smoke. For example, smoking is associated with increased chances of becoming a short-term smoker or a frequent smoker. Chronic smokers smoking and those who quit smoking at least once a year have high odds of getting lung cancer. If we stopped smoking before having a tumour, we have a better chance of stopping than if we started smoking after it. An attempt to quit smoking may help relieve the symptoms of lung damage.

These problems reduce the quality of life for women who smoked than for women who quit smoking only for 1 year. Smoking can be worse for teens and their mothers because they develop high blood pressure and higher risks of heart disease. Smokers should talk to their doctors about any smoking-related disorder and try to quit smoking. Smoking can affect families in different ways like having lower incomes, fewer job opportunities, and job loss. More and more teenagers around the world smoke which can result in lower job opportunities or unemployment. Families may also lose friends with different smoking profiles. Some smokers quit smoking and move on to other things but still, others remain smoking which can lead to more deaths. Smoking can make you weak and feel tired from the constant fatigue and sleepiness. Sometimes smoking can also affect your brain and brain cells and nerve cells. People can make smoking worse by smoking tobacco. Smoke does not make smoking more deadly. Cigarettes do not directly cause smoking-related illness but smoking indirectly can be fatal to the addicted smoker. You should stop smoking and consult a physician if you are concerned about your health or your pregnancy.

How cigarettes will affect family If you want to stop smoking you will have to make sure that it happens more often and not just on a few occasions.
