What is The Role of Sport in Our Life?

Sports

Why do I need sport?

When thinking about the sport you may already know about rugby, football, cricket, etc. the most important reason for the existence of these sports is to provide an outlet for the spectators where they can vent their tension and happiness away from the stress of life.

Sport can be used as a mechanism for concentrating people within certain sports making them more relaxed. We saw this happen in 2005 when The USA wowed the world and made it to the World Cup in Asia. This move made athletes even more energized as sports allow them to share their energy and enthusiasm with others.

Sports also help participants to come closer to each other as we could see, following the Indian Premier League cricket tournament, how many people were in the cricket match. It made an impact because of its reality and the infrastructure that supports sports. It was started 25 years ago and with time, increased and continued to perform while assisting people as a mode of physical and mental exercise.

Sporting events bring people together who may not meet often, thus, creating bonds and sharing content with people from all walks of life.

Sporting events increase the level of consciousness as well because of their social nature. As an example, basketball can inspire youngsters to set a goal in life.

For example, in India, women’s cricket is the second most played sport after football.

Sport allows people to leave their comfort zone and participate in activities and have a positive impact on all those involved In making sport a mass action, lends sports to responsible and social factors thus, it makes us have genuine ethical thoughts and behave in a responsible way. It also enhances social cohesion which creates a positive social impact.

Do sports need improvement or regulation?

Yes and no. With the improvement of the sport, The game has improved considerably. From 1985 to 1999, the average number of fans per game increased by about +75%, which is a great improvement. Sports like chess and swimming improved significantly. In recent times, sports like hockey and table tennis increased as well. Sports like football and volleyball have been really fun and created good entertainment for many people and new followers in these teams. This helped build the base for sports organizations to compete and help build the communities.

On the other hand, there are many problems in sports. Everyone loves sports but we should take care of the responsibility we put on the sport.
Cricket, rugby, soccer, and other sports should improve their safety within stadiums. Even though it is a mass approach but we have to follow the guidelines and make sure there are proper filtration and ventilation systems and all players are wearing all required health protection at every time.

Do sports promote higher rates of drug and alcohol abuse and violence?

Unfortunately, yes but there is something better than it. Sportsmen are trying hard in promoting the discipline and dedication of their athletes. They make sure you are in good condition before even getting to the stadium to watch the game. In the event you cannot practise or make a team for the game due to injury or illness, you do not get to sit in the stands and watch the game from your home alone. Having the opportunity to participate in the sport helps you stay focused on the game.

If any of these are not followed we are going to see bad results like matches being broken up, injuries and violence. The solutions to all these problems are health training or prevention. It could make the game better and be more competitive which increases excitement among the players.

Conclusion

Sport is the greatest achievement any player can have. Sport is the most common sport and it may bring teams together which is better than having one team in the country. Thus, the more people participate in sports, the better their chances to perform well as they can share their energy with others.
Sports keep us active and healthy making us more energetic. We are healthier and more energetic making us more responsible for the safety of our athletes.

Sporting events will always give us a huge impact on the community where we could observe social harmony as well. We have to encourage each and every person to participate and let them give their ideas as well. It will help build a healthy society creating a great society.
